oldksnarc
regardless of snopes, regardless of whether he meets the criteria for being the biblical anti-christ, regardless of how articulate he is, regardless of a locked post, I won't vote for him. wtnhunt
regardless of snopes, regardless of whether he meets the criteria for being the biblical anti-christ, regardless of how articulate he is, regardless of a locked post, I won't vote for him. First of all, I would not ever vote for Obama either, and I am very concerned for our country and for the future especially for my children and that is not a result of believing he is the anti christ. He is not the right man for the job, now or ever. My views on the man have been expressed here plenty of times in the past and I am sure that will continue on. Secondly, I thought the reason for that post that you are referring to being closed was explained fairly well. The thread was not deleted, which has happened in the past here with other threads similarly that were not true or likewise were not quite accurate. It was not closed due to snopes, but was closed due to the fact that the argument(debate) for profiling does not fit Obama since he does not fall into that age group. If anyone can give good reason to open that thread back up while there are a few other current threads already going on at the same time with rational reasons people feel that Obama is not qualified, I welcome them to pm me that reason. slugshooter
I wouldn't vote for Obama because I don't believe he has the experience necessary to be president. I once read a study however that based presidential performance against the experience that said president had previously. Experience was counted as national service whether it be as a Representative, Senator, or Cabinet member, etc. etc. The president with the most experience in those categories was rated as one of the worst presidents in history. The president with the least amount of national experience was Abraham Lincoln. The other president I am referring to was another president in the 1800's but I can't remember which one. My point is that experience does not necessarily correlate into a successful presidency. Who knows, Obama could be the best president we ever had, or the worst; the same could be said for McCain. Each president has a unique set of circumstances that they have to deal with that proves to be their measure. One decision can affect the history of our nation or any nation positively or negatively. (No pressure) I do not believe the aforementioned thread needs to be unlocked because I think it is laughable to think that Barack Obama could be the anti-christ. But then again, any time someone in history arises that is either extremely popular and simultaneously unpopular, his name is tossed into the hat as a potential anti-christ (Napoleon, Nero, Hitler, Hussein) I myself don't worry about it too much anymore, whatever is destined to happen will happen, no matter how much we try to change it. Good point. Neither would I if I were an American. If I had to chose between only Hillary or Obama , I think I'd rather just shoot myself.
