Turkeygirl
Another one of those questions.....I'm ordering a new sleeping bag...and a regular size one says it fits to 6'. One I'm looking at is a women's that fits to 5'6". I'm 5'5" so I'm wondering if I'll still have some room in it? My other sleeping bag is a regular sized one and I have alot of room at the foot end...which means more space to get cold and more space left to get warm. So thought I'd see if anyone knows anything about sleeping bags?
stevebeilgard
i know you don't want a bag shorter than you are. unless you backpack a lot, get a larger bag. a bad nights sleep in the woods is terrible. and get a warmer bag than you think you'll need. you can always unzip and let in cool air. cinch314
Here is the sleeping bag I bought last year on sale and let me tell you, I get cold fast, even in 100 degree weather and this one had me sweating. My feet and hands are constantly cold, so I have to look for something that will be warm despite the weather and this one works great. Im 5'4 1/2" and it is long but when I cuddle up in it, it is the warmest thing. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20075-cat20144&id=0006792514042a&navCount=2&podId=0006792&parentId=cat20144&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=UH&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20144&hasJS=true
JJL
Have to agree with Steve on this one, buy the bigger bag and slide down to the bottom. Also buy the best you can afford, a cold night outside is M I S E R A B L E.
