lungbuster12point06
My buddy Ken called me and said he happened to be driving past a bunch of water pigs in a flooded area and figured we could fish it..........so I packed up the camera and the bow and ran out to find some HUGE carp! He had already stuck 4 or 5 by the time I arrived and the biggest was well over 12 lbs. (15lbs. i think) We ended up shooting 14 or 15 and had way over 100lbs. of fish total...........only bad part is I lost 3 arrows and Ken 2, makes for a real expensive time when you pay $30 a pop for arrows, hopefully once the water receeds we'll find them. Oh, and i shot my first two carp ever with a recurve, once I had lost my third arrow I was done, but Ken had his son's recurve in the truck and graciously offered for me to shoot it, once I got used to just flinging instead of aiming I was whacking em.................Thanks for giving me the call Ken! Some pics. from the footage:

Texan_Til_I_Die
Cool deal! If it gets slow, try throwing some crackers or small pieces of whitebread out as bait.
toddyboman
Sweet!! Nice shooting. To bad about the arrows....but like you said hopefully you can get them back Cool deal! If it gets slow, try throwing some crackers or small pieces of whitebread out as bait. Would that be legal? I'm sure it varies per state.... lungbuster12point06
I usually just dump them in a farm field (they make good fertilizer) , but that day a lady stopped and asked to have them all just after i loaded them in my truck, I said sure no problem, she said she was gonna have caviar:eek::eek: some claim they are good smoked, but i can never figure out which end to lite:D
Tominator
I've heard they are good smoked also, but I think the fertilizer idea makes much better sense.
