ate1cropy
I have fished for a couple of years with big bucktails and swimbaits trying to catch myself a big pike, well it's finally my turn to brag! This last Memorial Day I went up to my buddies grandparents place near Brainerd, MN fishing for some bass and big pan fish. I was using a #2 mepps spinner when I got a huge hit. Good thing we took out the pontoon that afternoon because for 45 minutes this fish ran me in circles around the boat. Anyways the scale read 16.3 right before the batteries died so im not sure exactly how much it weighed but all I Know is I got to fight this monster on light tackle with no leader for 45 minutes. Its something I will never forget.
