He knows that our kids will NEVER get along for more than 2 hours. And it is really bad since there are 3 of them and only 2 of us. On that note. Wanted to let everyone know that wtnhunt is the BEST dad in the world. I couldn't have picked a better man to have married. Honey, I love you and appreciate all that you do for me and the girls. nativetexan Posted June 15, 2008 Report Share Posted June 15, 2008 Happy Fathers Day to all dads! You know what I got for father's day? My wife got a new puppy. I got to get up while she sleeps in. I've cleaned up poop off the floor from her new puppy, fed the kids, and am now having the priviledge of acting as mediator between a 3 and 5 year old who are hyped up on cereal that is labeled "promotes energy!" Which my wife bought for them for father's day because it was on sale... I'm hoping at some point that I will get a steak today which I will unwillingly/unknowingly share with the dogs, get to play with my kids who will fight over who gets to play with me first, and spend some quiet time with Mom which the children and dogs both will interrupt. OH! OH! and I forgot! I am almost positive that at some point I will get to watch an episode of Backyardigans which I have not seen yet! I guess its only fair. On Mother's Day, I had to go to Phoenix for a week. But wait a minute, she gets a girl's weekend next weekend???? 3 days, 2 concerts, two cities...DC and Atlantic City. That's ok though because I was promised a guided bear hunt out of the deal, and I got to buy the new digital camera that I wanted back in May. So I can't complain. Our days never work out when scheduled. The best we can do is make it up to each other. As long as we don't forget that, it's all good. Have a good day all!
