Hoosierbuck
Just got it confirmed...I bought a new vehicle! I was thinking of going with a Prius, you know for the gas mileage. It did leave a little to be desired in the "utility" aspect, however. In the end, I went a different direction and got a very gently used 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn edition 4 door 4WD with a HEMI! I am so jacked right now! WOOHOO! HB
cinch314
Wooohoooo with the Hemi your gonna be wishing for a straight V8 for gas mileage. Congrats though, you will have fun with it.
Hoosierbuck
It's got that deal where it will shut down cylinders on the highway, so that might help a little. HB

Guest yoders_hideaway
Quite a difference leaning towards a prius and then going all out on a dodge with a hemi. our durango has the hemi with the so called (save on fuel going down the highway mode) well it still suks the gas right out of the tank, fast. Congrats on your new ride though.
wtnhunt
Congratulations on the new ride Chris, would say post some pics, but we never posted pics of ours and we got it back in February. The hemi with mds does ok in our 2008 durango, and it is 4wd too. If you have the evic system, you can watch your efficiency and it will tell you when it goes to fuel saver. Running down the interstate at 70-75 we have been getting between 19-21 mpg with ours lately. Stop and go, been getting about 16-17, not too terribly bad for a 335 hp 4wd mid sized suv. Hoosierbuck
To those who congratulate me, thank you. To the naysayers-bah! Life is too short to marry an ugly woman, tote an ugly rifle, or drive an ugly truck. I'll post up pics when I pay for it and pick it up. Hoosierbuck
They were a long time a coming, but here are a couple pics of our new truck. I picked it up and paid for it today.
