come on Joe, time to get those scores posted.

We had a hard rain Saturday night, so I played the white tee's with the guys. I hate to be the only one playing the tips. It's kinda a pain to be walking back to the blacks and everyone has to stay back for you to hit your shot. Bogee on the last hole, blocked a 3 wood into jail. punched out and didn't get up and down.

Boy I couldn't make a birdie put to save my life yesterday. Greens are rolling pretty slow, and I can't get the read.

Both look like good courses.

But I think this one looks like a tougher course.

Good luck on which ever one you play ;):)

Yeah, i think Blue Heron is going to be the tougher of the two. Not sure if you took the course tour (they have three different 18's) but the first hole par-5 on their "lakes" course looks ridiculous.:o Put me down for a snowman or worse on that one.:D

Just a head's up RTGAers- I came across this website called ezlinks.com. I'm sure some of you guys already know about it, but in case you don't, it's free to sign up and it works a lot like priceline does for hotels and airline tickets.

You do have to give a credit card number, but it allows you to bid on green fees for a large number of courses nationwide. I saw Blue Heron (one of the courses I might be playing soon) is listed for Ohio.

Looks like a good way to save some $$.

Thanks for the heads up Muggs, I'm going to check that out.

I'm thinking I'll play this afternoon, been a rough week at work and I'm thinking a little 18 holes will brighten up the week.

Boy was I wrong, I did play 18 on Thursday afternoon but it sure didn't brighten anything. The greens were receptive, drives were great and I could not make a put to save my life. I had 2 three putts. Boy do I hate doing that. they did verticut the greens so they were rolling about 4 to 5 feet faster than Wednesday night, but you think after rolling the first one 6 feet past I'd have learned. Oh well, I guess I have to practice the putting stroke for next weekend. LOL I hate to practice putting.

Ok, request to join sent.

Finally got out and played yesterday. Just played a 9 hole course over by my grandparents house. Pretty decent course for only having 9 holes to.(par is 36) We played 9 then after that we decided it was still early and played another 9. First time out this year, I did better than I expected. Shot a 48 on the first 9 and 47 on the second. We doing better on the seconds 9, then I think I got bored or tired and had an 8 on the last hole that I usually par. :D

Good first round, you get that 8 down to par and your looking at 92 not bad for the first time out.
