jbeck
Good luck craig, hope the putting goes in. thing with scrambles is you need a few no-brainers to really get you pumped.
Guest Finn
Shot 5 under...it was a 9 hole scramble. Won the 2nd Flight, split $120 and we eagled a par 5, each of us won a dozen Taylor Made balls. Had fun and came out ahead

muggs
Nice job Craig. It's always a good thing when you win money playing golf. I shot 89 at that Blue Heron course. I had one bad hole that ate me up, but my putts have come around a little and I even parred the hardest hole on the course. I'm still a few years away from being where I want to be, but I'm coming along...having more fun than I used to on a course so that's a good thing. Guest Finn
Nice round Muggsy....think I read that 95% of golfers can't break
jbeck
Good round Muggsy, nice round. I'm looking forward to the Myrtle Beach trip. It will be nice to play some other courses and realize how bad my game really is. LOL
muggs
Thanks guys. If you're ever in the area, try to play Blue Heron. It's completely public with 36 holes. They even have a free practice range on the way to the 1st group of tees. First class all the way. It shows sign of heavy play, but for a public course it's very nice and it's a challenge. These greens were lightning fast. PGA caliber I'm sure.
Guest Finn
wish us luck Casey and I play my Dad's team in golf league tonight....tons of BS will be offered, so I hope we can take em. I gotta give 7 strokes and Casey 13 for 9 holes....tough order, so we'll see. Will report in tomorrow morning how it goes. We've gotta meet some cousin's after the match. Thats the worst thing about those strokes you have to give....If someone plays great you are in trouble.
Guest Finn
played 27 holes yesterday there was 9 guys up yesterday and we played 27 holes....little sunburned today Played pretty well: even, 3 over and 1 under. Played with my brother all 3 rounds, so that was fun Have a match this morning for our league flight tourney, so hope to keep playing well. Thats the worst thing about those strokes you have to give....If someone plays great you are in trouble. yep, nothing you can do about it.....I had to give 8 strokes....this course is too easy to give that many

toddyboman
Played 18 today on a course I hadn't ever played on......WOW the smalled, hardest, fastest greens I have EVER seen. Matter of fact the entire course was hard as a rock. I hit the ball well but hitting a green and getting it to stick was next to impossible. But it was good to get out and play. Guest Finn
Glad you got out Todd....hard, small and fast greens are rarely fun. I'm going to try this morning
The_Kat
I shot a 94 on a course down here called sugartree...beautiful course. Very well kept. Sadly I still have absolutely no control on my shots. Distance rocks, but I am either wide left or wide right every shot it seems. Putting was average I'd say. Ohiobucks
Played this one yesterday, ended up with a 78. http://www.royalamericanlinks.com/layout9.asp?id=205&page=4264 Very pleased with the overall score, not at all pleased with the back to back double bogeys I started the round with, and the monster 8 I took on #14! 4 birdies though, which ties for the most birdies I've had in a round. Oobgolf site is not working for me this morning, I'll get the score entered as soon as it comes back.
