Here's our pics from the R-100. It was an absolute blast. The North American side was by far the better course.

First of all, a thank you to Mathews for sponsoring such an awesome event...

You won't see many of them. Most people don't buy them. The Rhinehart 100 is 100 targets and it uses all the targets they make. Pretty cool pics............Looks like alot of fun.

Actually...A lot of the targets on the course are targets that you will only see at the R-100. The giraffe, and the Aliens, the bear on the toilet, I think the flamingo, and the fur bears are all custom targets, not available to the public.

The targets 3rd and 4th from the end are quite interesting. I lived in Vermont until 10 years ago. I want to know when it became legal to shoot the state bird??:D:D:D

Looks like you had a blast.

Mark

I hear what you are saying about the mosquito's. The bugs were terrible. Between the mosquitos, black flies, and deer flies, it was horrible. I think I still smell like bug spray from that weekend...lol

Good grief, those targets are great. I'd never looked at a course before this post, so thanks for sharing. That looks like a TON of fun, I'm really going to have to work on accuracy before I can even set foot on a course. Good shot on that 'killer mosquito'!

Very cool.

That looks so fun..I don't even know where the closest one would be to here, but I need to find it!

Thanks for sharing, and great shooting!

Tedi, I wish I knew other forum members were going to be there. I was there with our club, and we had an absolute blast. We camped out there for the weekend and had a great time.

A few of us even earned our 1000 point pins (without the handicap).

I hope they do it again in the future.

Did you camp at Greenwoods, the campsites right next to the ski area that the shoot was held at? We camped there, It was a very nice place, and we met some great people there. If you were there, sorry I missed you. My wife and I met a couple from New Hampshire. we got talking with them, and the husband said they were going back to there trailer to cook elk steaks. I joking around asked what time they wanted me there. They laughed and left. About 45 minutes later, he comes waking back to our camp with a plate, with a huge chunk of elk steak on it. It was delicious!!! That just pretty much sums up the kind of people we met all weekend.

It was a great place for the shoot. I know it is unlikely, but I hope they do it at the same place next year.

Yep, that was the place we stayed at.....In fact when you pulled up next to the campground office, we had the very first site on the right up the hill......pop-up camper.

The folks there were great, and we met a lot of them, lol.

We had a big BBQ with deer backstraps, moose, and caribou steaks.......man it smelled good that night.

We were the next to last tent site on the road that lead down toward the shoot. If you walked to the shoot, you probably walked right by our site. You were up near the pond then.

Jen and I have talked about going back there for a weekend just to camp, and hike the cross country trails. Probably gonna plan a weekend when Catamount, the club that hosted the Rinehart has a shoot, and camp Friday night and Saturday, and hit Catamounts shoot in Burlington on the way home.

If the truck was nosed in, you would have seen a green Ranger, with a Mathews sticker on the rear door of the cap.

Luke...yes you should get out more!!! If you have never shot 3D this would have been a perfect course to start on as almost every target was at a very reasonable distance. Not to mention all the people to meet.
