Now the homework begins. The district has plenty of sheep and some very nice rams. I'm really looking forward to this adventure . There is a 10-day archery only season beginning on September 5th and then rifle runs from September 15 through the end of November. Pretty long season. There are three other people with ram tags and I believe 10 ewe tags as well. I stopped by the hunting area yesterday on my way back from Missoula and saw a nice group of ewes and lambs real close to the main road. The rams are off by themselves this time of year, usually at much higher elevation, so I didn't glass any of them from the main road. Got me excited to see some sheep and start dreaming!
