LifeNRA
Got some new toys last week. Got an Apple Bow Vise at Bow hunters Warehouse. $30 compared to Cabela's $90!!! R.S. Nock Level set, and some other odds and ends. So I set my bow up this year myself, installed new string and cable, new WB Deluxe rest, string leeches, peep, and a kisser button. Served the leeches and peep in, used the nock level kit to get the arrow sitting square and level for the nock placement. Now I just have to start shooting and get it paper tuned. Learned a lot from you guys the last two years! Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Its nice doing the work on my bow myself! Also saving a few bucks as well! wtnhunt
That is cool John. It is nice being able to work on your own, especially if you do not have a good tech around close. Don't have a bow vice or a stand type press, only have a pocket press here, but it works.
hutchies
Yep, A vice is awesome to have. Makes it so much simpler. I find alot of times that when I am doing servings it is easier to set the bow in my press so it cradles it and I am looking down at what I'm working with. Glad to hear we got another guy into working on his own equipment. It won't be long and you will have a line of buddies at your door begging to work on theirs. hutchies
speaking of....bryan will you fix my bow If you ever bring it over. I told you 6 months ago I could fix that peep in 5 to 10 minutes.
