wv hunter Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 has anyone ever seen a brown turkey before while i was out this spring i called one in within 5 yds of it didnt have 1 black feather on it anywhere the end of the tail feathers was a cream color and the tips of its wings was cream color it really blew my mind to see somthing like that didnt even think to look for a beard when the sun shined on it almost looked maroon pretty neat wasnt gonna tell the landowner didnt want them to think i was on somthing but i did and it turns out that its a jake the landowner says its been hanging around his house since season went out but thats good fall season will be here soon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Never heard of something like that, but my best guess would be that it is a hybrid b/w an Eastern and a Rio or an Eastern and a Osceola. Just a guess though.
