turningcustomcalls
Hey all! What is your favorite deer recipe? Include instructions. My is to take a tenderloin, cut it into 1 inch squares. Marinate it in dale's steak marinade. Wrap it in bacon and throw it on the grill.
wtnhunt
Got several. One of the family favorites is lightly breaded fried tenderloin covered with white gravy. Real simple to do, filet your loins in widths to your liking(usually cut ours about 3/8th of an inch thick) rinse and drain, then flour(we use pepper and a little salt mixed in with the flour) and drop in an electric skillet with hot oil. Another favorite is steaks also cut kind of thin, marinated in italian dressing overnight cooked on the grill. Can bacon wrap these too, cooked some like that just a couple days ago. Usually use steaks cut from the hams for these.
Snipe
So many good ones hard to just choose one... I guess if I had to pick it would be chicken fried backstrap ... Just like Grandma use to make..
