EKYhunter Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 I can and I use it pretty often. The best diaphram that I've found to use is a Perfection Calls 3D Omega. It has brown tape and three thick latex reeds. The way I do it is take a deep breath and say "Gob Gob Gob Gob" naturally trailing off as you exhale. I use it a lot at NWTF banquets as well to answer someone elses yelping or cutting. A lot of people seem to get a kick out of it and are curious as to how it's done. All you need to do is do a yelp and wiggle your lips with your index finger at the same time. It was a hoot when I did it at the POMA conference in Sioux Falls! We had three long beards come in to a setup this year and they completely surprised us and left no opportunity to maneuver for a shot they milled around for awhile and moved off. So we got reset for them and tried to call em back in but they wouldn’t have it until I threw the gobble out there and they lit up and came in like they where on fire and pummeled my poor Jake decoy it was great encounter!
