xOZx
A buddy has a youth 870 he bought new a couple seasons ago for his boy. Used on a couple of deer and dove hunts. Like new. I want to be fair, anyone got an idea of how to find out what they go for used?
bluelund79
Check gunbroker or gunsamerica online. They normally have some decent ideas on prices, however, are you buying it from your buddy? I sold a youth model to my best friend that was virtually new with alot of extras when he told me it was for my godson, charged him exactly 50% of the guns price-not including all the extras. Roughly on trade in, most places give you about 70% of what you paid for the gun. Good luck.
wtnhunt
Checking gunbroker is a good idea, granted they have a listing for the same model gun that you are looking at. Bought my wife an 870 youth gun new from wal mart, it was I think $264.95 or something like that before tax. With tax, it was under $300 out the door total. Would think around $200-$220 would probably be a fair price on the used gun in like new condition.
