Gator
Heard last night on ESPN that Mark Martin will be going to Hendrick Motorsports for 2009, to drive the #5 of Casey Mears. Aric Almiorola will drive the #8 for DEI.

Chrud
I heard Martin will be part time in the 5 with Brad Keselowski in 2009. Then, in 2010, Dale Jr and Hendrick will partner to form JR Motorsports in the Cup Series, just like they have in the Busch Series. It will be a two car team with Brad Keselowski and Tony Stewart as the drivers. Joey Lagono will be moved into Stewart's spot at Gibbs. Then, also in 2010, Kenseth will be signed by Hendrick for the #5, after Martin calls it quits. So, in 2010 you'll have Earnhardt, Johnson, Kenseth, Gordon, Keselowski and Stewart all on basically the same team. You heard it here first. Wow... that's a possibility for sure but if it happens that way then OMG what a team that will be. Hendricks could just have their own league because the Chase will be decided between their own group. Wouldn't that be amazing. However I don't think it would be great for the sport as a whole! Roush had 5/10 in the Chase when Stewart won it...2005 I think? I don't think it would be a big deal. You'll have team orders in the Chase whether the whole team makes it in or not, no matter what they say on TV. Oh, it will happen. Remember back a couple years when I predicted Carl Edwards would win his first career Busch and Cup races at Atlanta? And I was one DB away from being right about Junior getting win #1 at Richmond. It will happen.
