nativetexan Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 We were bored yesterday, and it was too hot here in Jersey to do squat. So I mentioned to the boys that I would like to see some deer. They love doing that and got excited. So I piled them in the truck and we went to the one place where it is a "never fail" to see deer..Valley Forge. I had a perfect shot on a doe and fawn (nursing) and missed it because my 3 year old yelled out the window BABY DEER! when I was creeping up on it in the truck to get a quick pick. Sometimes missing a photo on a deer is just as depressing as missing a shot at a deer. It was perfect. The sun was to the side and they were standing in a clearing with lush green foliage behind them and the sun was hitting the two deer. Such is life...Enjoy!
