Yep............I'll be on the couch with a cold refreshment and some popcorn. Hope this season is good

They say that a 204" and another monster are taken this year.

Read that as well. I am kind of disappointed that its not amateurs this year. I enjoyed watching the amatuers. Really thought that is what separated their show from everyone else's?

Saw the first show yesterday at 5am cst and it was just introducing the teams.........must be nice to have all those places and times to hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

I saw the first episode today also at 2pm eastern. It was ok, just intros and teasers. I will pass judgement later. I too was disappointed about no amateurs.

I was with the guy that shot that 200+ just days before when he was in Illinois while I was on my " Catch a Dream hunt raffle" that I won last year. I even had a cold one with Mark Drury that night. Looking forward to the season episodes.

I sent a message to the Drury Brother via Camospace and here is the response I got.

Joe,

We thank you for your feedback, but unfortunately can not change the format.

These Teams are amateurs in their own right. They all have normal jobs, several of the Teams actually still have to knock on doors to get property to lease. Only a couple of the Team members actually own their own land. They don't make a living off of this and get paid very little to be on the Drury Team. In fact, we often wonder why they stick with us.

In addition to that, the very first year we did Dream Season it was all of our Drury Team members as the cast and to date it is still the best ratings we have ever received for Dream Season TV.

When we did all amateurs it was the worst ratings we ever got and to top it off it was the worst season of hunting any of the Dream Season Teams ever had. Not everybody can lay down a good kill on film contrary to popular belief. It just isn't that easy. At the end of the day we have a show to produce and using cast members that have proven them selves to be able to get on deer and kill them on film is what the majority of our viewers want to see.

Again, we thank you for your feedback but this is the path we chose and we have to live with the business decisions we make.

We do value your opinion and the opinion of all of our fans and I thank you for taking the time to write me the message today.

Sincerely,

Matthew W. Drury
