TexasDeerHunter
I have been pretty fortunate to get a tag the past 4 years. I was hoping the state would change it to where a tag was valid for any season ( firearms, archery, muzzleloader ) , I noticed they did for residents only. I just got back from our work weekend up there and saw several deer and a couple of nice bucks right where I hunt. Congrats on the draw and good luck. Rhino
Just a quick note for anyone who applied! And i drew for bow season..cant wait!!!!! Go to kansas website for results tim I checked mine earlier and I drew an archery tag and so did both of my hunting buddies. Don't forget...even though you drew a tag you still have to go back and buy your NR license.

Rhino
How many of you drew a tag last year? Last year I didn't have any preference points for Kansas so I just bought a preference point. I had 3 preference points for Iowa last year anyway so I was virtually a shoe in to darw an archery tag there last year. This year I flip flopped applying for Kansas while buying a preference point for Iowa.

ruttinbuc
Last year I didn't have any preference points for Kansas so I just bought a preference point. I had 3 preference points for Iowa last year anyway so I was virtually a shoe in to darw an archery tag there last year. This year I flip flopped applying for Kansas while buying a preference point for Iowa. I was asleep at the switch. I was going to apply to Iowa with 2 points, but plans got changed at the last minute. Should have still bought the point, I guess. The odds for Kansas should have been a whole lot better since they did away with the landowners tag. Still should have applied for the point. Going to Illinois to try again.
