Swamphunter
I am in the market for a nice one piece flagpole, something that really looks nice out front in my yard with Old Glory flying high. I have a two story home, so would like the height of the flag, compliment the house well. Anyone ever purchase one online? Where if you did, and what height do you think I should go? Thanks
OJR
I'm not sure where to get one, but you might check with your local American Legion Post. They might order one for you! If I remember right, they can also order a pole for the flag! I wouldn't got with anything nylon. They fade real quick! If your local Legion Post is anything like ours, we "retire" flags for the public two times a year! Glad to see you want to fly our flag! stevebeilgard
i have an 18' pole. i made a mistake and purchased an aluminum pole over the internet. well, it's only good for a 20mph wind. our average wind is 22mph. so, i can only fly the flag rarely. today it's calm, so i'm fine. i'm making a new pole with heavy duty water piping. it will be good in a hundred mph wind... lol
