ruttinbuc
Anyone know what kind of spider this is?
Tominator
That is not an arachnid. It's a wheel bug. http://creatures.ifas.ufl.edu/trees/wheel_bug.htm http://bugguide.net/node/view/454/bgimage
ruttinbuc
Don't spiders have six legs or more?
Tominator
Don't spiders have six legs or more? 8, unless you pull some off like we did when we were kids. Your bug only has 6. The 2 in front are not legs, those are his/her antennae.

Tominator
splaaaatttt. that's what i'd have sent a picture of... the orange tells me he's poisonous Yep, to a degree Steve. To be honest, I had to look this bug up as I've never seen one. I just knew it wasn't a spider based on the 6 legs. When I looked it up and read on it a little, apparently they will put a nasty bite on you that can have effects of up to a year.
