cflhunter
For a beginning archer like myself, what are some tools for adjusting and tuning my bow that I am capable of doing? Is there work that can be done without a bow press, or is a bow press one of the first items to invest in? I am hoping to learn the basics of setting up a bow and adjusting it to meet my individual needs. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! LifeNRA
I have the following, Bowmaster Bow Press http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/presses-bowmaster-c-32_454.html Apple Archery Vise http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/vises-apple-c-35_141.html R.S. Archery String Level Combo http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/snap-string-level-combo-p-1318.html Nocking Pliers http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/eastman-universal-nocking-pliers-p-2801.html Archers Allen Wrench http://www.bowhunterssuperstore.com/american-archery-products-archers-allen-wrench-xtra-large-p-6904.html String wax Extra nock sets Extra field tips Arrow nocks Broadhead wrench String Leeches and all the other little stuff for the bow! I keep most of this stuff in a box much like a fishing box. I use this to re-install string and cables, nocks, peeps, loops, string leeches, and tuning my bow. The website for these links have the best prices I have found anywhere! Now if you get into re-fletching your arrows. Thats another can of worms! LOL!
