ThethirdI
Well after giving it a lot of thought I finally took the buyout that Chrysler was offering. After 15 years assembling steering columns and torque converters I left and now own my own business. I haven't been on here in ages because I have been so busy. I think that I may now have some time to catch up on all that I have missed. I know that there are others on here that work in the auto industry. If you can afford to leave then I strongly suggest it. Leaving my job in a factory was the best decision I have ever made. Now I'm my own boss and there's nobody staring over my shoulder every day. My wife says it's like being married to a different man;). She said that I used to be angry every day and was hard to get along with.....Now she says it would be hard to believe if I even got angry. Anyhow...It's nice to be back!

Worked for the same company for 27 years, then they decided we weren't needed any more. Funny, my wife says the same things about me. PM me, I may have some business for you.
