Dreading it...yes, I do everytime, but what the hey...what else is there to do on a Tuesday.... (I have another class to train on Thursday also).... my wife thinks I am a nut If my boss allows me to show it... I'll have a video for you guys to watch tonight. AdvantageTimberLou
Enjoy your Tuesday Ken, sounds more "exciting" than mine but I am o.k. with that!
Deb
Oh my, glad I'm not walking in your shoes today!!!
Hoosierbuck
I have a ventricular arrythmia so I have always been afraid to get Tased. It would suck if a fun stunt turned fatal. Most of the guys don't know anything about it, so when they start screwing around, I don't tarry long. One time I did have a flash bang go off between my feet in one of those "horseplay" sessions. Wish I could have measured that vertical, I think it would be my PR. HB
wtnhunt
Good luck with that Ken. Been zapped a few times working with electrical stuff and been "hit" by our electric fence a few times, that is as close to being tasered as I want to get. Like mentioned above, would be a bit concerned about my heart.

Tominator
my wife thinks I am a nut So do I. Good luck with that. I remember getting CS under the eye and walking into gas chambers in the service, but don't think I'd volunteer to get the taser.
Dawg
Nothing like seeing grown men hit the dirt in the blink of an eye. I laugh every time I see some one get tased on COPS. Wouldn't want to experience it myself though!! Hope you enjoy!
OJR
That would be out of the realm of things I want to get done to me! Good luck and I hope you don't bounce too hard when you hit the floor!

fly
I'm glad to hear you came out alright. Hoosierbuck has a point about cardiac dysrhythmias. I don't know the power of a taser but I know I have cardioverted patients with as little as 50 joules. We always have a crash cart available in case the patients heart goes into a worse rhythm or possibly even stops. If I were you I'd think hard about doing it in the future. At least make sure there are people present who know CPR and have a AED readily available.

At least make sure there are people present who know CPR and have a AED readily available. The TASER is less than 1 joule. It is actually .36 joules at the main capacitors, but only .07 of that is actually delivered in the load. Very safe, very effective less than lethal device. I am a certified taser instructor and because of that I have now been hit with the TASER 33 times.... I like the drive stuns, but don't much care for the probe hits. :D:D
