Guest kmcclish1
I have booked a hunt with an outfitter this fall to hunt whitetail. This is the first time I have hunted with an outfitter. Any of you more experienced have any guidelines for tipping on a guided hunt?
BuckNrut
Was a good artilcle on the subject in American Hunter a long time ago. Basically, don't give 'em stupid gifts that they already have (knives & such). As for the amount of cash, hopefully other post readers can help you out. huntinguide
its all on how you interact with the guide. Ive shown some guys a great time with little tip. But ive taken guys out that had a good time but didnt have alot of success and got huge tips. It is up to you and how the hunt goes. Theres no set tip also remember it doesnt have to be money some of my best tips where equipment. If you hear him sayin something that he needs or wants and you have it and could let it go give it to him and thatll make his day.
