bigelk76
This guy sold a landowners tag on ebay. His name is Jarrod Stewart phone 580-518-1971. I understand he is a pretty rancher in that area. He might have a spot for another hunter.

fly
From Rita Blanca WMA: Pheasant: Present in low numbers. Quail: Blue quail may be present in low numbers in some units. Deer: Mule deer may be present but in very low numbers. Pronghorn antelope: Antelope present in fair number but are heavily sought after. Antelope hunting permits are only offered through Oklahoma’s controlled hunts program which gives a very limited number of permits. This WMA doesn't sound so great for hunting. I think I'd be calling some private land owners. I'd love to hunt pronghorns. Someday. Good luck with your hunt planning.
Jeramie
And it Spirals downward! First, I found out I cant use my .243 to hunt prairie dog while im out there. Its typically legal but due to a drawn hunt being in process its not allowed. So I have to Crap a .17hmr and get it ready to rock no later than Friday of next week..... Also, the ranch I had buttoned down just went south. A very good source told me to stay away from the guy. He can be questionable with the law and has had a few runins. I was told I would probably still be ok to stick with him but to make sure I cover my butt. That was enough for me to pass. Now I have to locate another spot in just over a week with both antelope and Prairie dog..... No matter what, its going to happen...... I didn't end up making the trip out as my daughter came down sick late last week, but my mother is out there hunting now. She and my father saw some Saturday, more yesterday, but hadn't connected yet when I talked with them last night. Hopefully today. Looking forward to the pics and story!
