waterfowler_gal
I have been to Canada many-many times fishing but never hunting. I was curious how tough are they on bringing firearms across the border and what can I excpect... Last time we went fishing they ripped our boat and our truck apart after we had everything packed to a "T"... not a very fun experience... Let me know.. thanks... fisherguy
Re: GUN SITUATION in CANADA It is now easier to bring a gun into Canada than the US. YOu need some paperwork for customs(easiest to do this ahead of time) then at teh border pay a fee, they will check the gun matches teh paperwork and that is it. I think the fee is about $50 bucks. Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: GUN SITUATION in CANADA That's right, do your homework ahead of time and it's not a big deal. My goose hunting buddy get's accross with no problems. As far as getting ripped down at the border, that's the border guard's job and it just happened to be your unlucky day. rbduck
Re: GUN SITUATION in CANADA Try these for starters....... www.cfc.gc.ca. or 1-800-731-4000 They should at least get you headed in the right direction. Good luck. Ron
