KirkV Posted July 16, 2008 Report Share Posted July 16, 2008 Well not really, I trap the little boogers in these traps in the yard and then daily take them down to the lake in a gallon freezer ziplock bag. See I thought maybe with all of the heat we have been getting the poor little guy's might like a swim to cool off! Well I never dreamed that the bluegill and catfish would like them sooooo well. I usually feed pond chow to them but they are really enjoying the beetles everyday. I have one gallon of beetles to empty every day. Is that called recycling???????????? I posted a few days ago about what a pain these things are. I finally used some spray insecticide and it helps, but there seems to be 3 to take the place of every one i get rid of.
