...since I got out and shot the bow, but I flung a few today. Just walked in the door actually. I bought a new sight and got a new block 4x4 last week. I told myself I was going to wait a couple weeks to shoot at it because I ordered a string from bucknasty over on archery talk and wanted to wait to put that on. I couldn't help it though, I got the itch :D:D This is going to be a field tip only target, but I had to shoot a couple broadheads at it to see what it was like. I shot one G5 striker and one G5 Tekan II both came out easy, the Tekan II seemed to do the most damage (but thats what it is supposed to do right? :D:cool:) Definitely won't be shooting one of those into it again. The field tips were a bit tough to pull out with just a bare hand. But I had bought an arrow gripper when I bought my Morrell Yellow Jacket a few years ago, with the gripper, a 4 year old can pull the arrows out of the 4x4, it took almost nothing to pull them out.

I also got to shoot with my new extreme RT900 sight, man this thing is sweet, I wasn't exactly sure how far I was from the target (was around 15 yards), but left and right I was right on, all I had to do was drop it down a bit, one adjustment and I was hitting where I wanted. Of course this is just temporary, as soon as I get the new string and get it all tuned up I'll have em set at either 20, 30, 40, and 50 or 10, 20, 30, and 40.

It's hard not to scratch the itch! I got it a few weeks ago... I got the 4x4 for Christmas, and I love it too! Congrats on the new sight, and glad you like it! It's always nice to get a new piece of equipment that makes you excited about shooting! Keep practicing :-)

Take care,

Ryan
