wtnhunt Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 Welcome to the forums. Really have not heard much on the icon other than that it is not as pretty a gun as what the advertisements show. Far as the accuracy, have no clue. I would suspect if you are looking for a rifle to deer hunt with and plan on taking shots out to 500 yards and beyond that you will need to look at ballistics tables and find a really flat shooting caliber that will still carry enough energy, think I would probably build on a model 700 if it were me. ntrout Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 i have a icon with a 4by12by50 swarovski on top. it is a great gun, but i wont shoot at a deer thats over 500yds out. now i do shoot it at the range up to 800yds, but just for fun.
