WiHunter813
Last sunday marked exactly two months till i tie the knot. 9-13-08 ( same day as opener of WI Bow season:mad:) Eveything is set, invites are out and my future wife isn't stressed out anymore. Got lucky and booked this lodge for the reception it right on a lake it has deer walking though daily(too bad is in state forest property.) We've been planning this for two years and now we're only weeks away:eek: We met four years ago and she hated the fact i hunted. Now the last three weekends in a row she come with to run dogs at night in prep for coon hunting and two weeks after the wedding she starts hunters safety classes. Told her i'd make a redneck outta her :-)

ThethirdI
My wife wasn't into the hunting thing either when I married her. She asked me about six months ago when we were going to buy her a bow.:) Imagine my surprise. It took years, but those were some of the most beautiful words she has ever spoken to me. Good luck on your vows! My wife and I celebrated our 12th anniversary this June and we have known each other for 20 years.

c_lou
2 years of planning and you still choose to get married on the opener. Your Man Card should be suspended. Good Luck and just take the day as it comes.

nativetexan
Congratulations guys! I am going to have to agree that an opening day wedding after two years of planning should result in at least a punch on the ol' man card. But I guess since you changed her mind on hunting, I won't hold it against ya.

I agree. When a woman is planning her wedding, best thing to do is stay out of the way and maybe go on vacation till she has it all planned Wish the two of you the best Wihunter! Me and my wife will celebrate our 1st year anniversary in a couple of weeks.
