That's a First

So I'm out putzing around the house last night killing bugs and thinning apples when I notice an abandoned stroller out on our road. The stroller had 2 little kids in it.:mad:. Over the years our road has become a very busy avenue. As I started down to investigate I see what I presume to be mom down in my yard picking my flowers.

I started to go down but decided not to. I kept waiting for her to wave or come up and say thank you, or something like that, but nothing. She just gave the flowers to the toddlers and walked on by.

I mean, I'm flattered you like my flowers and all, but how about asking next time. Sheesh. What are people thinking?

I am right there with you, I was talking with my wife yesterday about the fact that there is no common courtesy and or sense in folks today. I had a young man come to the door the other afternoon selling some kind of books geared to schoolage children, told him that we no longer had young children at home. He proceeded to tell me what an idiot I was for not taking advantage of this great opportunity he was offering me. I picked up the phone and proceeded to call the police and inform them of an unwanted person soliciting in my neighborhood, while he was standing there. They came right out and escorted him away from our neighborhood, he was not very polite while all of this was going on ;-). I have lived too long and suffered these idiots too long. My wife says I over-reacted, I think I could have done worse. I had just finished a new Bowie and needed to test it's edge ;-).

Seems there are more and more people these days with a lack of common courtesy. Not much common sense on her part leaving the kids out there on the road either.

.......yeah...-that's the part that got me...-leaving the kids out on the road...

-Tominator....-maybe try roping the perimeter of your front lawn off with some "Haz - Material" tape??...-that might deter them...??
