dukslyr77
Well my wife and I were watching some hunting last night and she said it sure would be nice to go bowhunting with you. I said you can go anytime you want. She said no, i want my own bow to whack and stackem. I said ok. So my question is what is a good bow to buy for my wife to start out shooting. clrj3514
depends on wat she likes, ur budget, and wat she can draw back. browning youth bows are good and ive heard great things about the Diamond edge
Born4it
That's awesome if she really said she wanted to whack em and stack em...sweet! I don't know a ton about youth or women's bows, but I've heard good things about the Mathews ones. It looks like the newest one is called the Ignition. I'm a Hoyt guy, so I'd also strongly suggest looking into Hoyt. Just look around and have her shoot as many as possible and just try to get her the one that she has the most confidence in! The biggest key, as you know, is making sure it fits her! Good luck! Ryan
Parkergirl
I just got a side-kick from parker and it hasn't failed me yet. the good thing about these bows is they have a lifetime warrenty.
LifeNRA
I just got a side-kick from parker and it hasn't failed me yet. the good thing about these bows is they have a lifetime warrenty. Another thing is you can upgrade the limbs for only $50! So its like getting a new bow for less money! Ill be getting the Sidekick for my daughter. wtnhunt
Lots of options. Might be best to take her to a bow shop and let her shoot several if there is any way you can. My wife shoots a browning micro adrenaline. Pretty nice little bow, when she first started shooting, the tech backed the bow down to around 38 lbs for her. My oldest daughter is shooting a darton ranger III bow, comes with everything you need to make adjustments to the bow(draw length and weight). Been pretty impressed with that little bow so far. We considered the parker and diamond bows for my daughter, but I kind of liked the idea of not having to send the limbs back for replacements each time you wanted to upgrade. The Darton, everything came with it to upgrade, not paying the additional charges later on.
