BearClaw
I experienced a problem tonight with my peep sight. (Surz-a-peep) All of a sudden it starts to twist and I have to look through the strings to see the target. I had new strings and cable put on it a week ago and it's been shooting great until tonight. What can I do to correct that?
4Blade
You could put a twist or two in your string that would fix the problem for a little while but it will happen again and again untill the strings settle down........Just keep shooting as much as you can to seat the new strings...Once they settle you can adjust the peep serve it in and it will pretty much stay put.......I have Shurz a peeps on all of my bows they make great peeps..........I never serve them in untill the strings settle....... :D
cflhunter
I'm having the same darn problem with my newly installed G5 Meta Peep. And, my strings are two seasons old. I've already had an additional twist added. That worked for a short while but now it's doing the same thing again. Should I add another twist? BearClaw
I've always had an archery shop do the work on my bow and in the 2-3 years I've had the bow, I've never had trouble with the string twisting. Now the nearest reliable shop is 1 1/2 hours away. So how would I adjust the peep serve?

You may be able to slide the serving up or down a little bit on each side to get the peep where you want it, but you don't want a big gap in there as the peep can slide. Are you shooting a D Loop?
