texastrophies
Anybody watching this joke of a race? 7 or 8 laps at a time at 3/4 speed to try to keep from blowing out a tire. :o:o
VermontHunter
Unfortunately I'm watching it .. :o Why even bother running this show ...
Guest bowhunter56
yes, it's a sad, way to run a race..
IowaDeerHunter
Missed it. anyone want to fill me in on what was going on? I heard tire issues but what is with the slower speeds?
The_Kat
they could only run 12 laps or a few over before blowing a tire. Competition yellows.....what the heck? Terrible race, not worth talking about really. Happy Jimmie got a win, but easily the worst race all year.
punkinslinger
GoodYear should be totally embarrassed when they can't deliver a tire that can't last more than 25-30 miles!!!
Chrud
Not having a "sole provider" agreement with Goodyear would probably fix all the problems. If BFG, Hoosier, Firestone and other could all bring a tire to the track, chances are one of them would work great.
Randyman
What!?!? NASCAR has turned into a joke? When did that start?
ruttinbuc
they did not do any testing at that track with this Car of Today and its high load on the tiires. If i paid the price of admission I'd be a bit peeved... Joke is not the word for this fiasco.
VABuckSlayer
Actually they did do a test with the COT at Indy and they had the same problems. Goodyear assumed with all the other cars on the track it would rubber in and there would be no issues. Guess they were wrong! That was pathetic! All the hype about the Brickyard and that's what we get for a race??? Nascar should be very embarassed after that!
