Randy
I would like to buy a reasonable priced tent that sets up somewhat easy and provides maximum protection from the elements. Is there such a thing, and if so, what is it and where can I buy one? Thanks!

Hoosierbuck
You don't give specifics on how many people this thing needs to house, where you are using , and what time of year? I'll shoot you some suggestions if you answer those for me. HB

texastrophies
are you talking about a canvas wall tent or a dome type of pop up tent?
m gardner
Cabelas Alaskan Analak is the best I've found especially for withstanding bad storms. It's not the easiest to setup though. Lots of pegs. I've had mine for 5 years now and have spent probably 13 months in it with no problems. Mine has a stove in it too. All I've had to do to it is wash it occasionally and seal the seams once. Mark

jm23494
Check out www.campmor.com. They usually have some good deals on camping equipment. Here is a link to their "hot deals" for tents (about halfway down are the family tents): http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Category___17305__
stevebeilgard
I want something big enough to live in comfortably for a week or so, I don't really want a wall tent per say but, something on the bigger side. i've had numerous wall tents up to 16' x 20'. i now have a 14 x 16 and can set it up myself. but, it's easier with 2. i've been in 2' of snow, and sit inside in short sleeve shirts. get a good tent with a good stove, and all will be well....
