MadHuntinPastor
After coming highly recommended by several of you all......I purchased a Thompson Center Black Diamond XP Stainless Steel w/ Blk Composite Stock today at Gander Mountain! Pretty excited about setting it up and getting to use it next year. Now looking for a good scope to put on it. I am leaning towards something from the Leupold Rifleman series. Any helpful advice would be appreciated concerning gun or scope!!

David_218
Re: Proud New Owner!! Congratuations!! I have a T/C Black Diamond too in .50 caliber. This past season I "Flat-Lined" two Deer with it using 90 grains (Volume) of "777" behind a .452" 250 grain saboted bullet + a 209 primer to fire it. Both of my Deer were taken @ 90 yards in the neck. I was using T/C Factory Peep Sight which seemed more pratical than trying to install a scope. Much easier to clean! One more thing to consider for sure.

[/ QUOTE ] On my other M/L, which is a Knight MK-85, I do have a 4-power scope mounted in "Q.D." Leupold rings. They are very handy when it comes time to clean your M/L. Just remove the scope & Clean then replace the scope. Hold "Zero".
