MichiganHunter Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 This is my 08 bird 11.5in beard 1.125in spurs and a great 28.5lbs This is me and my girl with the bird sorry the beard aint in it. this is my girls family property she was turkey hunting for the first time and missed this bird by like 3inches then to make her even more upset I went and stood up and shot the bird at 48 yards after she had missed....oops...but i told her it was a big bird and i didn't want him to get away and tell his friends what was up....lol....we tryed to get her a bird but no go, but she is ok and is really looking forward to hunting this fall for her first deer....and she did do good for her first day of hunting ever....and i know she'll kill a deer this fall we got lots on our land.
