pointing_dogs_rule
HI: I see that Redhead has 8 pages of cameras. I have a Cuddeback Expert and like it except for price and it can be compicated. I am thinking about a second camera. What types to you all have: GOOD and BAD points. Thanks, good luck to all the dog PS: I am not much for making a homemade one.

Flintlock1776
I won a Moultrie D40 Trail Cam from huntbuzz.com it works well. I also bought the Moultie I40 it is infrared and really works great. Search around the hunting forums folks post photos and videos of their trail cam shots all the time. See what you like and don't worry once you made up your mind. I think all digital cameras are good these days. They seem to like to fight over small varainace. If you are a techie and care, go for it. If not, plenty of options out there. Good luck
jaret
I got my stealthcam on ebay for just 40 bucks. It was a steal. Works good too.

Mach1
I like that the Cuddeback Capture uses the more traditional SD card instead of the Compact Flash card.

Pix no longer sells parts for homebrews, but for a good tutorial you can go here and look through the pdf files http://www.pixcontroller.com/Tutorials/HowToMakeTrailCameras-Tutorial.htm. Here is a pic of the last one I built And a link to a thread with some recent pics from that cam http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74728

wtnhunt
Can i ask what camera you used? All my setups with the exception of the first one I built use sony p41's. Used a sony p32 in my first build.
pendog
Thanks, i was looking on ebay for p41s after reading the link you gave me. What is an average price for one of your builds after you factor in camera and supplies? If you sell these and this is sensitive data then disregard the question:D
