scouting cameras

I won a Moultrie D40 Trail Cam from huntbuzz.com it works well. I also bought the Moultie I40 it is infrared and really works great. Search around the hunting forums folks post photos and videos of their trail cam shots all the time. See what you like and don't worry once you made up your mind. I think all digital cameras are good these days. They seem to like to fight over small varainace. If you are a techie and care, go for it. If not, plenty of options out there. Good luck

That makes 2 of us.

If I was going to buy another one right now that is the one I would buy. Here it is one...;):)

I currently have a couple stealth cameras and they seem to work pretty good.

I would like to make some homebrews, anyone have some insight on how to start?

Some of the websites devoted to this have the camera's looking junky imo.

Pix no longer sells parts for homebrews, but for a good tutorial you can go here and look through the pdf files http://www.pixcontroller.com/Tutorials/HowToMakeTrailCameras-Tutorial.htm.

Here is a pic of the last one I built

And a link to a thread with some recent pics from that cam http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74728

Nicely done!
