This Yanks My Chain....

as bad as we tend to see it, it's really quite normal in the culture. notice the elders in the village are quiet. that means it's o.k, even normal, for them.

about 1990, we had a herd of about 150 elk come off the bighorn mountains into lodge grass montana, and indian reservation. they went out and shot all they could, and left them. since it's on the reservation, no charges could be filed. why did they do it??? "so white man couldn't shoot them" was the official tribe response. give me a break.

It happens everywhere, and will continue to happen until they revoke native sustinance hunting rights in North America, and make everyone pay the same for licences, and follow the same quota's.

I've witnessed Natives using spotlights and pickup trucks to shoot deer off the road, at night, out of season. All they would take were antlers. All meat left to rot.

I've seen a young Native kid shoothing spring malard ducks out of a ditch with a .22 for "target practice" he claimed. He never recovered one duck, and told me "Its OK. I'm only shooting greenheads".

I come across two young native men one spring, using a pitch fork to spear spawning northern pike out of a flooded drainage ditch during the closed to all fishing season. When asked why they were taking so many big pike...."Because its fun". Every last fish was left rotting on the bank.

I could keep going on about the waste I've witnessed from those who clame to be the most in tune with Mother Earth. Who make claims they take care of the land, waste not a single scrap. Use every piece for sustinance. You ask me, its all lies, told so they can keep living for free, poaching and raping the land at the expense of the tax payers...My rant is done. Sorry, but this stuff just gets under my skin.
