Strut10
So after seeing the 6 hens with no poults this morning I left to go shear Fraser fir over at the farm. Just as I got back to my Jeep to head in for lunch I saw a big hen on up the field road. She was soon joined by another hen and 10 poults. That's a little better sight to see than this morning's. Nut
On Tuesday I was lucky enough to see 3 hens with about 15-20 poults about 400 yards away from home also. Looking up for sure.
Covehnter
We've been lucky enough to watch a pair of hens with 8-10 little ones grow up, see them every day on the way to work in a pasture. Been fun watching them grow. Also saw another hen with 8 or so poults on another farm, along with trail camera pics of 5 gobblers. . . . is it springtime yet?
