Guest Andrea
You can't separate the turtle from it's shell without damaging it's back. There would be extra skin hanging off. Pretty neat job if it's a hoax. Looks weird doesn't it?

TreeStandBowHunter
That's a turtle dude. Look at the head and feet. They have a bunch of sea turtles over here in Okinawa. That looks just like a sea turtle without the shell. That's pretty hard work removing a shell too:confused:. That's a sea turtle;)
Tominator
Got to be a hoax. Doesn't look like a turtle to me, and I saw plenty of those things when I was in the service. No other pictures of this thing? No other stories? What happened to it? Where is it now?
Randyman
If i saw it on the Internet, it must be true! After cleaning my share of Snapping Turtles, i don't believe it is a Turtle. They don't have a "body" under their shell.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Decomposing raccoon. Or possum, or some such. The "beak" is just where the flesh has disappeared and the bone underneath is showing through.
