RTF
Has anyone tried to install one of these flex fuel converters ? Dont look that hard at all. http://flexfuelenergy.com/ethanol/how-to-convert-your-vehicle-to-run-on-e85/
Chrud
For what it's worth, I did my own test on my '04 Silverado. For two weeks I ran it with 100% unleaded fuel. For two weeks, I ran it with fuel that may contain up to 10% ethanol. The 100% unleaded performed better, as I got about 3 1/2 to 4 MPG better than 10% ethanol. I don't want to think about what my MPG would be with 85% ethanol. I'll stick with 100% unleaded.
Guest Andrea
My husband built some little gadget that uses water in his diesel engine. It increased his mpg from 7 to 14.
Mirage
e85 only gets about 80% ofthe fuel milage as regular gas and there is only a small difference in price I think when you do the math after buying the coversion and price of e85 versus regular unleaded the savings is very little:mad:. ThethirdI
My husband built some little gadget that uses water in his diesel engine. It increased his mpg from 7 to 14. That would be an HHO converter. I am assembling one of these for my truck. Everyone that I have talked to says that it has helped them out. Heck! even if I only get a couple miles to the gallon more it will pay for itself in no time flat.

I think he got one of these things. I have no idea what they are and how they work. http://flexfuelenergy.com/natural-gas-vehicles/flex-fuel-vehicles-powered-by-natural-gas/
