colescott1
I'm guessing this to be a two year old? Decent rack, but looks like a long nose, thin neck, no sway back He'd be my best bow buck, but thinking if I let him go, and he lucks through all the neighbors, he'd start to be a hammer next year. Thoughts?
wtnhunt
Think you are right, looks like a 2.5 year old deer to me. Can relate to what you say about neighbors too. Pretty well see the "brown its down" mentality around here. Makes it kind of tough sometimes to pass on nice young deer with great potential. okie thumper
I don't know the genetics for your area, but it looks like a 1.5 year old buck to me.
colescott1
North-Central part of MD. So...what would you say? A young monster in the making? I've got a bunch of other similar size / age looking deer. Here is another one from this week.
