VTbowman
At work right now, hatin life, and my good frineds from NY call. GW and Adkhunter (Gary and Dave) are heading out to a sportsmans show over there and wanted to rub it in. GW told me that he planned to buy "me" something, then he would use it during hunting season and he would let me know how well it worked. I suggested for him to "get a 38DD camo bra and try THAT out!" LOL I love it when friends call me at work and rub it in that they are doing cool stuff. Like hunting out of my tree stands or ice fishing or going to sportsman shows without me... I LOVE IT! Have fun guys!!!!
JimT
Re: With friends like these who needs enemies? Ya...but your making money and they are not. When I have a chance to work extra I do it. Unless it is hunting season. Then they can stuff it. lol...... You must not be working hard if your on here also... VTbowman
Re: With friends like these who needs enemies? JimT- Yes I am making money however I have been working Thurs-Sun since September and I am real burnt out with not having days off with the wife, family, and friends. I am helping out covering days I am not normally scheduled since we are short handed. We have 4 guys, down from 9, covering 24-7. 12 hour shifts too. But your right. My job is more intense boredom then work. I am to sit here and wait for alarms, if they even happen at all. I have not responded to one in 3 days. So we get to surf the net, read, watch dvd's, and recently, I have even been playing my PS2! Madden 2005 of coarse in the sprite of the season! (Oh BTW the Pats keep killing the Steelers. LOL) Tough -huh? LOL Poor Shawn -right? It still sucks being so bored all day long and to never see the family and friends when they are all off and I am not. VtBowhunter
Re: With friends like these who needs enemies? Pats keep killing the Steelers? You must be playing Rookie mode, LMAO. Don't worry Shawn, turkey season will be here soon enough and you can take that frustration out on the birds.
VTbowman
Re: With friends like these who needs enemies? [ QUOTE ] Pats keep killing the Steelers? You must be playing Rookie mode, LMAO. [/ QUOTE ] Nope. All-Pro baby! Not good enough for All Madden yet. Man who is? Yep I think with Lukes spot all picked out. That I will be a couple birds richer come spring. Can't wait! No offense either. I'd run down to Birdseye Mountain, but Lukes spot is about 94 miles closer. You understand right? GWSmith
Re: With friends like these who needs enemies? We love you man....You were there in spirit though. We asked the Hoyt girl(who had a big zit in the middle of her forehead if she would like to step up to shooting a Mathews Bow someday. For some strange reason she just sat back down looking a bit confused...LOL Nowhere near what you wanted me to try on for you but there was one.....she was very interesting....I mean she had a great body, touched the seat for you and everything. She was 22.....horsepower......LOLOLOLOLOL The biggest ATV I have ever seen...A 22 hp diesel engine with a dump bed and RealTree Camo to boot...and as far as the boots go...they were bigger than the tires on my wifes car....thing was huge. Would work great on the farm....would never get it in the woods though...seats 3 acrossed the front seat!!! There was the usual stuff at the show....like the bizzillion outfitters from Canada(the pictures behind them get bigger at every show...LOL) and the vast array of boats....this I figured was just poor timing..LOL They have to know that all the lakes are frozen right now and the price seems to stay the same...strange I thought they said they were on sale. I did get a new Turkey Call that was made in Pennsylvania...thinner than a deck of cards and no where near as long either...Sweet sound too. The striker board fits inside the sound chamber and is the size of a stack of say...25 business cards...cool little call that fits in your pocket. Daves was left holding the bag...literally...thats where we put all the cards and phamplets we collected. He has that at his house...along with the video camera and my digital camera....he made out pretty good on the deal...LOL We went to Dick's Sporting Goods after the show to see what they had on sale and left without buying a thing. HE dicided it was a better idea to just make tracks for home after that because of the snow storm and called after he got there to let us know he was OK. I may be in trouble though soon enough....I'm having trouble deciding on Canada or the State of Maine for a Black Bear hunt. I got Dad some info on a Caribou hunt and he will be happy....he has always wanted that...he may never go mind you...he likes the pictures Sorry no pictures of the show though....they parked us way out in the boonies and it was somewhere around 5 degrees with a good wind....I realized just how important the camera was to have with me at that point...LOL...When I realized it was still in the car...and we had just made it inside the front door of the Expo Center...maybe next time
