HuntnMa
well I am here to say " I am alone" woohoooooo. My youngest moved out the other day, the oldest has been gone for awhile now... the house is me, the hubby and the dogs now.......It's still odd waiting for the youngest to get here by curfew, but I'll get used to it, lol... She's had some issues, so I ask that y'all pray for her to be guided and given wisdom , Lord know she needs it.....Thank you....

Tominator
I haven't reached that point in my parenting. I vividly remember a couple other milestones--the last day of diapers, and the last child care payment. I guess the next milestones will be driver's licenses and then tuition payments before we can have an empty nest.

elkoholic
While you may be finished parenting (now you just give advise), you will never be done with the worrying. We all hope that our children make the right choices. My wife and I tried to instill in our children's mind one major thought process, that being, that we all have rights and responsibilities, and choices, and must be willing to except the consequences of those choices. Congratulations to you on the empty nest and to your daughter for heading out to start a new life.
Dubie
I'm still waiting on a first little one to show up, so I suppose it'll be atleast another 18-25 years or so before I get to post this...
