EKYhunter
Just wanted to remind everyone that 63 years ago this week we dropped Little Boy on Hiroshima, Japan on August 6th and on August 9th we dropped Fat Man on Nagasaki, Japan. Countless American lives were saved by dropping these bombs. I thank God that he blessed our country to come up with these weapons first, enabling us to end the war. I haven't seen anything on the news about this, which is sad, but I didn't really expect to. God Bless the USA!
Texan_Til_I_Die
What we typically see on the news is a report critical of the U.S. that focuses on the number of Japanese killed. I'm frankly surprised that more of those haven't surfaced this year.

EKYhunter
I actually saw a story yesterday as I was changing channels. The story talked about AMERICAN lives being saved by the dropping of these bombs. I was glad to see it.
Guest Colorado Bob
Seems to me we only had 3. The test at White Sands & the 2 dropped on Japan. True ?? True is it saved both Jap & American lives. It would have been a horrible fight when we invaded the home island. It would have been a fight to hte death.
