stevebeilgard
i think this was a remote, isolated incident. we have nut cases all over the world. this was a knife attact, and i don't expect much more. i do expect problems with muslim attacks, but that is normal worldwide and not a china thing. i say not a china thing because muslims aren't allowed in china as a religion. in fact religion isn't allowed. it comes with communism. now, have you heard of the thousands of reported stories where chinese people are welcoming americans, buying them dinner and drinks? we are there favorite country to the average china person. it's us who buys all their products and are helping them actually have a life. remember, 15 years ago less than 1 tenth of 1 percent of the people had a car. today, it's 12% and growing. and the rest of the story is that is exactly why oil prices are so high.... lots more demand. elkoholic
Never could understand someone who would kill a total stranger. The suicide thing on top of that makes it more bizarre. A random act? Maybe, but more than likely they were targeted as Americans. The Olympics have become more of a political jousting match and the true spirit of the games has been lost in the minds of many. Politics, drug doping, and monetary gain can put a damper on most anything. Condolences to the family. Hopefully this is only an isolated incident.
