pse arhcer
Thinking of buying a new Diamond "The Rock" bow, and was looking for opinions from anyone who has one or has shot one. Have heard Diamond's are decent, but would like to hear some other opinions. Thanks in advance.
m gardner
Last spring my Martin bow was stolen and I replaced it with a Diamond Black Ice(by Bowtech). I shot it for 4 days and it wouldn't settle down and shoot consistently. I took it back to Bass Pro and got the PSE Mossy Oak NX I'm shooting now. My friend Dave had one and he tinkered with it constantly to get it to shoot. He's got a PSE now after seeing me shoot mine. He had to get one up on me though so he got the X Force. I go into Cabelas Bargain cave and there's lots of Diamonds there that have been returned. Another guy just had the limbs on his 82nd Airborn replaced, a guy at the club that shot competitively for Bowtech has a Hoyt Katera now and loves it, and I think there's a recall on some Bowtech Commander limbs(the one with the funny pivot behind your hand limbs). I don't think Bowtech is having a good time right now. I've put about 5000 arrows through my PSE since April and had to replace the strings and that's it. It shoots well just as it came out of the box with no add ons, not even a stabilzer. Stick with PSE. Mark
OUTDOORLIFE3
truthfully i am very disappointed in the diamonds...yes they don't have any hand shock, but they will not paper tune, not matter what...i own the black ice and am just trying to save up so i can get the bow i want
pse arhcer
Thanks for the input. I ended up going with another PSE. Shot both the Diamond and PSE back to back, and just felt the PSE was a better fit for me...just felt more comfortable. Thanks again for the replies. pse arhcer
I went with a PSE Brute. Not top of the line, but think the wife would've killed me if I spent any more $ . Feels great and have been shooting pretty well...got my first ever Robin-hood last night!!
